A walkthrough sets your time zone, Wi-Fi, Mesh node name and radio region. Replay it from Settings > System.
Install E32
Pick your board, plug it in, and press Install. It takes about two minutes and needs Chrome or Edge on a Mac, Windows or Linux computer.
Not sure? Turn the board over. The version is printed near the USB-C port.
Use a USB-C cable that carries data, not a charge-only cable.
If the browser can't find it, hold BOOT, tap RST, then release BOOT.
Choose the entry named USB JTAG/serial debug unit and select Connect.
Keep the cable in. The T5 restarts on its own and opens a short walkthrough.

Use Wi-Fi transfer from any browser, or copy files to the SD card on your computer.
Flash LILYGO's factory firmware or upstream CrossPoint the same way. Your SD card is untouched.
Try another cable and port, close other apps that use serial ports (Arduino, PlatformIO, Meshtastic), then use the BOOT and RST buttons to enter download mode.
Unplug the cable and press the power button. If it is still blank, install once more.
Safari and Firefox can't flash devices. Use Chrome or Edge on a computer, or follow the manual steps.
